| Was sad to hear about the passing of the great tv host/singer Mike Douglas. I would really like to see some of his work on DVD as you can easily find from Dick Cavett. The week of shows featuring Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly would be especially rewarding. |

Yes, I agree with you, Ryan. Although we never received the Mike Dougla shows over her in England, I used to see them whenever I visited the USA.
I believe there are some excerpts from tho Astaire-Kelly appearnce on the 4-disc box of "That's Entertainment" - which is a useful set to have.

Another sad loss.
Mike made several excellent vocal albums too-well worth seeking out(on vinyl). |
