Lyle "Spud" Murphy, arranged dance numbers for Fred Astaire amongst his illustrous career, has died aged 97. He arranged "The Shorty George" number in "You Were Never Lovelier" (1942). Arranged for Benny Goodman and is also very famous for changing the "Three Blind Mice" ditty into the theme music for The Three Stooges.
