Please could you confirm whether or not Suddenly is anamorphic? Your comments {in the thread below} imply it is , but the packaging implies it isn't .

Thanks

Dear Russell,
Thanks for your interest. No, SUDDENLY is NOT anamorphic but it is 16.9 and performs perfectly on a modern widescreen TV.

This DVD version has been digitally restored and represents the cleanest and best-looking version ever released on home video. It has been produced in multi-region mode with PAL60 & NTSC and will be released by the Sinatra Estate in the USA.

All of our future productions whenever derived from widescreen sources WILL be mastered in anamorphic. Two titles on which we are currently working - THE BOUNTY & THE DEAD ZONE ( though not officially part of the Laureate Collection ) will be mastered anamorphically and in Dolby Digital 5.1.
These will be issued early in the New Year - each with a host of extras. Our next Sinatra film THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN ARM will also be presented in widescreen.

I trust this meets with your approval.
Regards
Ken Barnes
