How good it is to see a new forum devoted to musicals. And how nice to see that "Daddy Long Legs" is now coming to DVD.
Hooray for musicals. |

Like Celia Hall, I'm delighted that work has begun on "Daddy Long Legs" and I hope this means that Fox will follow Warner's lead and turn out some box sets of their own classic musicals. "Tin Pan Alley," "Down Argentine Way," "Diamond Horseshoe" and "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" might make a good start. Then don't forget " That Night In Rio," "Weekend in Havana," "Springime in the Rockies" and "Four Jills in a Jeep."
And,of course, the much requested Glenn Miller films "Sun Valley Serenade" and "Orchestra Wives." |

It is an interesting release and a very logical one for Fox because this is the only musical film that Fred Astaire made for them. |
