| I know this isn't anything to do with anything but on the Gay Divorcee there is a song which was sung by (a very young) Betty Grable and Edward Everett Horton but I cannot work out some of the lyrics sung by Betty Grable. Anyone know them? |

Peter,
On the question of "The Gay Divorcee' ( which is not yet on DVD ), the song you're referring to is "Let's K-Nock K-Neez." Performed by Edward Everett Horton and a 17-year old Betty Grable. It was written by Mack Gordon and Harry Revel. The original stage show "The Gay Divorce" (1932)
was Fred Astaire's last stage musical. It had a score by Cole Porter, all of which was jettisoned in the film except for "Night And Day." The other big song in the picture was
"The Continental" by Con Conrad and Herb Magidson. It was the first song to win an Academy Award (1934).

| Thanks for the info Ken. Sorry about my original post, it was a bit hit and miss. I already know all of the info you gave me (I never mentioned the song name, sorry), it was the lyrics that betty sings I wanted as it is a bit difficult to work out what she is singing. Nevertheless, thanks for your response, it was very good of you to bother. |
