Dear Ken Barnes,

Although I've been collecting movies on DVD for a year, I have just discovered your website. I immediately went out and bought Citizen Kane-Special Edition. I knew it had received good reviews but it turned out to be far better than I expected. The extras are great as is your informative audio commentary. But it's the picture quality that really pleased me. I thought nothing could surpass the R.1 version but this makes for a better viewing experience. As a video technician myself, I know how easy is the temptation to over-refine or "over-cook" a video image ( which is what happened to a certain extent with the R-1 edition). This has not happened here. Your disc,it seems to me, is a true and near-perfect rendering of a nicely-restored 35 mm print.

My congratulations to your technical team. Please let's have more DVDs of this quality.
