Dear Ken Barnes,

I felt I just had to let you know how much my family and I have enjoyed the new collection of Road pictures. I have never seen them look or sound so brilliant as they do in this set.

As a cinema projectionist, I wondered how you'd got rid of the reel changes - which always take up 8 frames ( 4 in and 4 out ).

I see that you've also done the Fred and Ginger collection. That will be my next purchase. Please keep up the good work.

Dear Mr. Tilley,

Being a cinema projectionist, you would ask that kind of a question. And you're not the only one who's noticed the disappearance of the "reel" changes. I had a call from another buyer who was an ex-projectionist and he asked the same question.

The answer is that each of the 8 frames ( 4 in and 4 out )
were removed or rather "covered" digitally first visually
and then the audio was covered with "atmosphere" taken from another part of the film. Result? a clean picture throughout.

Thanks for your interest
Regards
Ken Barnes
