Once again warners have really gone to town with is collection.
Each film is introduced by Mickey Rooney, lovingly restoredand every disc is packed full of extras.
The bonus disc is worth the cost of this collection on its own.
This disc includes the interview Mickey Rooney did for TCM and the Judy Garland song book.
The five-disc set includes the bonus disc. Stills and the book Private Screenings with Mickey Rooney, Babes in Arms" (1939). Strike Up the Band" (1940). Babes on Broadway" (1941). Girl Crazy" (1943). |

Thanks Rego. Yes, I am hearing great things about this set. It's definitely one for the Christmas list - and it's already a good seller in the U.S.
Warners certainly seem to lead the field in box sets. |

This set is released in just two days here, and I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for bringing it up months ago. I'll be especially eager to see "Girl Crazy" again. |
