Hard to believe that come this October 14th Bing Crosby will have been dead 30 years.
I was just 16 years old in October 1977 but i remember the day like others remember the day Kennedy was shot dead. A truly wonderful singer, still at the top of his game, dead on a golf course in Spain.
The real tragedy was what might have happened in the next 2/3 years had Bing lived; following what amazing things Bing had achieved in the prevoius 3 years of his career.
Hard to believe also that Bing's last commercially recorded album 'Seasons', one of his best, has still not been released on CD. When will this be rectified Ken?
