Congratulations on the Laureate Collection for giving us movies that entertain. Charade - Meet John Doe - the two Fred Astaires - Suddenly and even The Big Trees ( the latter is a minor Kirk Douglas flick but it is entertaining as all the Laureate DVDs are.

Now I read that you're branching out and working with Universal ( congratulations to Universal ).

I love old movies because they have charm and give the impression that they were made by intelligent people. For this reason, I'm a big fan of the Laureate Collection.

To Jim Patterson & Vincent Mallon,

Please accept my gratitude for your enthusiasm.

We'll do our best to keep up the standard with moviies of all kinds. Now that the DVD market is increasing, we're sure to find greater opportunities for expansion.
