Laureate is like a voice in the wilderness. With the distressing state of TV today or rather the kind of people who are controlling it, we are seeing less and less of the great Hollywood classics. Unless something is in colour and the oldest characters are just under 30, they think that no one is interested.

The only way to see and appreciate the great classic movies these days is on DVD and Laureate seem to be leading the way. Having purchased your DVDs of CHARADE, MEET JOHN DOE
(terrific), SECOND CHORUS ( best print I've seen of this rare Astaire picture) and SUDDENLY, I'm looking forward to your DVDs of THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN ARM and the wonderful
HOLIDAY INN.
